- Basketball - 

The basketball season came to a close with the

state tournament in Louisville, KY on 3/13 and 3/14.

 

Five SONKY teams advanced to play in Louisville and in what was our best showing ever, they earned 2 gold and 3 silver medals. 

 

Gold medals went to the Boone Co Rebels and the Kenton Co Wildcats. 

Silver medals went to Northern KY Lady Kats, the Area 7 Orange Crush,

and the Area 7 Crusaders.

- Young Athletes -

There will be another session of the Young Athletes Program beginning on Monday April 19th.  The program runs for 8 weeks and is held at Caywood Elementary School from 6:30 to 7:30. 

This is for athletes between 2 and 7 years of age.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported

the Polar Plunge at Newport on the Levee.
